by Alejandro Holstad on For being a strait dude, I was surprised how much I liked this place. On our second day in LA, my roommate needed to go to US Bank, a few doors down from here. After banking, we decided we would stop and have a beer and get to know the new banking area. Not knowing it was a gay bar before entering, we quickly learned from the bartender ignoring us most of the time because he was stuffing his face with a pint of Ben and Jerry's. I guess he was just dumped. The rest of the trips were never as good as the first, as the first trip is one of my favorite LA memories. I've had decent service after that and I've been there a handful of times.
by Joe Brasket on Once again, Martuni's surpasses my expectations - great martinis, wine, service, vibe, and open mike in the back room for those who are feeling playful and daring. The front room could have used more warm bodies, though, as it was quite cold.
by Ahmad R. on Still setting the standard of South Beach nightlife. Whenever you visit Mia to party, you MUST spend a night at the mansion. Awesome sounds, good dj's and (most importantly) a gaggle of hot women every time I have been there. I am especially a fan of Latina American studies :) and Mansion gets some of the most beautiful Latinas in south Florida!! The VIP area is where the party is in this place. You get a little more space to move and its usually filled with cool people. GUYS..take a tip, get a bottle!!! The only bad thing about this place is that the Friday or Saturday line can be long. Its a great thing to walk past all those people in line and walk right in to meet your date, a bottle of Stoli Elit.
