So on the 4th of July my friends and I decided to head to Temple. I arrived before them and waited in line for about half an hour. After the others showed up, we had to wait another 15 minutes, but in all it was not bad at all. My friends had signed up for the guest list, so they all got in for free while I got in for $15 thanks to some discount card they received. Not bad at all. After getting in and checking our coats, we got some drinks. At about 11 it was just getting started, so we got drinks quickly. The bartenders were actually nice, which is a welcome change from what I'm used to. We started dancing and during the song "Lean Back" my hand hit my buddy's drink, spilling it everywhere. The bouncer near us, rather than kicking us out, laughed, then picked up the cup I smacked and went to get the janitor. Really fucking chill. There are three dance floors, but only two were open this evening (I think there were some birthday parties being thrown that night). The main floor one was big and open with reserved seats on the side. Downstairs was a smaller dance floor with its own bar and much more seating. We spent most of our time downstairs due to a crowded upstairs. Both floors played house music all night. The people were friendly and approachable. We danced with a couple groups and talked with some people, all of whom just seemed relaxed and wanting a good time. I really don't have anything bad to say about this place. The cover is always a bitch, but once you get in, you can relax and have fun instead of all the hassle of lesser night clubs.

Came here for dinner rather than the after the after hours spot that i've heard its jazzed up to be. I like the decor and ambiance. It feels like im inside a spaceship on the planet Venus. They sat down my crew of 6 but then forgot all about us. I had to get up and flag someone down and remind them that we existed. After that though, we were in there like gym wear. The drinks came fast and strong. The food was alright. We all had a nice spread of the Deviled Eggs, Caesar, Cheesy Grilled Cheese, Buddha's Cups, Fish Tacos and Chipotle Fries. Out of these, i'd say we all agreed that the eggs, buddha cups, fish tacos and fries were on hit and the rest were just bleh. Glad the music wasnt super blaring so that we all could still converse with each other. Would like to come back for the legendary bottomless mimosas some time..
