by Z J. on all image, no content. trying to cash in on the hipster burger joint vibe, but not quite pulling it off. the food was totally boring but not actually offensive, and would do in a pinch if there weren't so many other, better, places within a block or two.
by Todd B. on Once the bars and clubs in the Mission close, you stroll back to SOMA, but you haven't concluded your state of party quite yet. Wrestling with your friend from Quebec is not enough, although it's entertaining for the taxi driver and the bogus Mark McGrath. I don't feel like hitting Mel's- this bag of Doritos is holding me over quite good. I guess it's the MSG. " Lezgo to Tem-pull". I had not been here before....the outside scene at 2:45 a.m. was littered with hook-ups, people who done rocked the vodka a little too close, and a guy behind me who didn't understand the " No Ins and Outs" rule. Surely the Suge Knight esque bouncer will provide a complimentary refresher course on getting 86'ed. But not for me. I was only bad the night prior. $20 cover and $3 coat check. We hit the floor and it was nice. The music took me back to the late 90's. Other guys had their hair spiked too. It wasn't quite the " Shore" but the crowd was fancy, the women were of the attractive nature. Good vibe's aplenty. The go-go dancers hypnotized me, and this girl on the floor is winking, but I'm so out of it at this point. I can only dance and smile. After my pal had realized that at this hour the women were either picked over, too faded, too jaded, or beyond fectstasy, we made our exit. A cool after hours dance spot when you're not quite ready to call it a Saturday Night ( Sunday morning. )
