Ah, the Clermont Lounge. Legendary, and it should be. It's the sort of place that I'm embarrassed to tell friends about (and the number of times I've been), and yet I HAVE to take visitors there...it's just such an Atlanta landmark. The scene? Strippers. Well-aged strippers - some have worked there since before I was born. Most seem very nice, and most have a good sense of humor. I mean, you kind of have to when you're 55 and dancing in front of a mirror and hanging onto a pole. There are a few 20 somethings who dance as well, but somehow, they're not as amusing to watch. And then...there's Blondie. The woman crushes beer cans between her bosom, what more is there to say? If you get a chance to actually have a conversation with her, do so - - she's an intelligent and interesting woman. Be prepared for smoke, cheap, strong drinks, and a whole lot of shakin' of everything going on. Always a good time.

Before Afterhour Power (AHP) was at Avalon, it use to be here. Oh fun times of lining up at 4AM and them making you line up on the second level. Place is hella dark but there's a platform/second level you can stand and look over the dance floor. Standing on that.. you'll definitely feel the bass go boom. The place is almost like a maze full of twists and turns unlike a lot of other clubs were it's more a tunnel shot Facade/Ivar..long narrow. When AHP was being held here.. they would open up Ultra Suede (club connected to the Factory) as well and it was basically a big maze and being fawked up..it was hard to find your friends. Bathrooms are nice and spacious but if you don't hurry the eff up.. security will be knocking on your stall wondering if your doing lines or something. I've gone here once for a Go Pro party and it was okay. This type of club is better suited for electronic events... hip hop... it's just too much.. you get too drunk and too lost. If you like NYC clubs that are in the meat packing district, you'd definitely like the Factory. Parking is a pain in the butt though. Either walk a bit and park in the street or at a private lot.. it'll take forever to get your car sometimes if you park infront. The patio is REALLY small.. you'll be making friends quick because you have to get to close and crampped with peopl
