Flip is the new hot spot in Atlanta known for their burgers and creative milkshakes used with liquid nitrogen. It's hard to miss the place, the bright white sign is screaming at you from Howell Mill. The inside decor is pretty neat also, goes along with the "flip" theme very well. If you notice the booths, they're flipped upside down... same with the white tables in the main dining area, and the chairs on the patio are also flipped. Come here and order something you don't normally have, like the cuban or southern, or what I ordered-- the turkey. It was the best burger I've ever had. (who cares if it wasn't beef!) Pomegranate ketchup and avocado are 2 things you don't normally see in burgers. The krispy kreme milkshake was new to me also. It actually has a doughnut blended in, but I favored the nutella burnt marshmallow one better. Great spot to get a quick bite, but the place is really crowded during dinner time. THe bar is great also and reminds you of a club when you're there. (crowd + noise = club like environment!)

I've been musing over this review for over a week. You know what? I ate most of the things on that menu (big party, sharing everything), and I was not very impressed. Plus that, you have to practically threaten the waitstaff to get the seats you want for the shows. ALTHOUGH, I have been craving the edamame, hot with garlic and other seasonings that make it just so damn wonderful. (3 orders to myself, kthxbai) HOWEVER, I will say that 5 stars for their decision to have Bella Fleck and the Flecktones playing. Most amazing show I've seen, pretty much ever. Also, if I've spelled any of that wrong you can bet it's because a) I don't care and b) It's 2am and I'm sick of seeing "Unfinished Review" on my profile.

This is truly a very small, intimate venue. I loved the intimate setting, but you'll be packed like sardines for a sold out show. It can also get pretty warm in here. The stage is also not elevated very high, so if you're short you'll want to be near the front if you want to be able to see anything. It's a bit confusing when you purchase tickets online because it says you can pick up at will call, but there isn't an actual will call window. You can just get in line and they'll have a list with your name on it if you bought tickets online.
