We have previously really enjoyed One, and we do love the friendly service. However, the meal we had last night was so bad, I don't think we will be going back there for a long time. The charcuterie was just ok and included pork belly that was - and I am not exaggerating - all fat with no meat. We asked him to replace it with a different option, and got a story about how that is the way they eat it in Italy. We have both traveled to Italy and even went home and researched on the web, and we have come to the conclusion that this was BS. We ordered the filet - now I am not sure how a restaurant at this level could even consider low quality meat, but the filet was CHEWY. IT was really poorly executed and tasted terrible. We honestly wondered how much the chef had to negotiate with McDonald's for that meat. We also had a parsnip soup that was just plain weird. It was frothed like a latte and had a chocolate flavor, most of the thicker parsnip mass was at the bottom of a tall glass with the frothier stuff up top. I am all for experimental food, we are very adventurous, but that was just plain bad and just strange. All in all, there are much better options for a $150 meal in Atlanta. I would not recommend One if you care about the ingredients or the taste of the food.

Came here last Saturday with a couple of friends, and was pleasantly surprised. Security was a little rough but didn't take long to actually get inside. LOVED the coat-check lady...super nice and helpful. The music was honestly hit or miss. Great songs accompanied by awful pop remixes that have just been ridiculously over-played. The drinks were ok, no complaints about that. I definitely enjoyed the furninture and decorations...made the mood more enjoyable and more intimate. Great little balcony for ppl to overlook the downstairs area and dancefloor.
