I came here for a concert, so please disregard this rating for the club. We had no problem getting in and I was pleasantly surprised by the cool Asian-themed decor and lighting. The stage was not huge, so there was a nice intimate and relaxed vibe. I would go back for more concerts there in the future. NOTE: However, I definitely would not eat or drink there or at the Maritime's other establishments. The sitting area and bathroom (next to the kitchen) were just crawling with roaches. I've never seen so many roaches in a venue before. I know this is nyc and you're bound to see a couple but come on. Get some spray. *shudder*

Went here for lunch today with a group of 40-something people. Our menu options were limited, but I got a really good feel for this place and I was impressed. For appetizers we tried the pimento cheese and buterbean hummus dip and it was interesting, but not my favorite. The fried green tomatoes were on a great red pepper sauce and had goat cheese inside the batter. The last (and my favorite appetizer) was the bbq pork. It was served on a scallion potato hoecake (like a pancake), topped with house made BBQ sauce and cabbage slaw on top. It was fantastic. My salad was................salad. I wasn't wowed, but it was a salad. I got the buttermilk fried chicken entree. It came de-boned (yes!) on top of mashed potatoes with a bourbon gravy and some green beans. It. Was. To. Die. For. Seriously. Probably the best fried chicken I've had. Great flavor and super juicy. Yum! We had dessert elsewhere, but I heard their desserts are good too. I will definitely go back here next time I'm in town

I've only ever been to this quality establishment for concerts, and it has been thoroughly serviceable. Pricey drinks (that I can recall), so get plastered beforehand. Good venue for concerts, but I probably wouldn't go out of my way to go here if I weren't guaranteed to dance to a favorite band/DJ so ferociously I can't move for two days.
