by Gary K. on So in continuing my burger quest the wife and I headed out to Cover 3 tonight. Twelfth best burger in Texas so say Texas Monthly. I am going to find out for myself. As we drove up Cover 3 was easy to see their sign is large and colorful. It was raining, haven't seen much in awhile and I forgot my camera so no pictures yet. Yep as mentioned it is an upscale sports bar, nice large bar area and lots of table seating on each side of the bar as well as outside seating. It was very large and one side of the seating area had a tall ceiling. I noticed the entire wait staff dressed in black. There were lots of people gathered at the bar looked like several small groups of people maybe a department gathering of some kind. We were seated quickly and our waiter was great. I order the Chop burger and my wife ordered the Chicken Fried Chicken. She loved it and it was very moist I tried it as well and it was good. My burger was cooked medium and the bun was toasted and warm. I added lettuce, tomato and raw onion and mayo. I did not get cheese because all they offered was cheddar cheese which I do not like on my burger. American cheese was not available but Swiss was if you like Swiss Cheese. The burger had a charcoal taste. Well what can I say it was an excellent burger. I like it very much one of the better burgers for sure. I was surprised I even liked the fries with parmesan salt poured on them. To wrap up, don't know if it is in the top 12 but it surely is in the top 50. Burger great, chicken fried steak very good, great atmosphere, wonderful wait staff, with a full bar for the after work socializing. One con the back ground noise was so loud from all the talking we had to talk very loudly to each other to be heard. If there was any music I could not hear it. Would I go back? Yes and in the near future.
by Alva Krauss on Fun place. Not too intimidating. You can get crazy on the dance floor or hang out at the bar or patio. Celebrity sighting Chelsea Handler...OMG, made my night. Cleaner thanRage and way better dancers. They have a great gogo show with boys hanging on rings.
