by Reyna Faykosh on Not for everyone, and definitely meant more for larger groups, Bowlmor can make bowling seem almost like an afterthought with its nightclub-esque atmosphere. Mixed drinks are weak--but not expensive by NY standards--so get a pitcher of beer instead. Servers are friendly and cute, but with near-identical uniforms and darkened lanes, they can be difficult to discern individually. Shoe rental cost is average, though games run high. (There are specials on Monday nights.) Good selection of alley balls to choose from which is a big plus for my girlfriend and I, since her fingers are small and mine run large. Would definitely go back with more friends.
