by Karson D. on Kudos for trying to tackle gourmet burgers in an eclectic fashion, but sometimes it's a miss. The burgers tasted good, but the combination of ingredients were sometimes odd and over the top. Same goes for the shakes. Some of the shakes did not seem tempting at all. Fois Gras shake? They didn't even have a regular chocolate or vanilla shake. Maybe I'm too traditional when it comes to shakes. The fries weren't that special. But -a definite bonus - the ladies on staff aren't hard on the eyes, that's for sure. G'damn.
by Karen Y. on My friend has a crush on one of the blond bartenders so we were persuaded to check this place out on one of our nights out. Unless you're on the guestlist or know someone I recommend you bring your coat. Do not try to brave the cold; just coat check because it's at least a +20 minute wait. After the bouncers were done letting a flux of guestlisters in, he asked us our ratio (3 girls/2guys) and let us all in. The decor rocks and so did the music. We danced all night long. Songs that would change every few minutes between top hits, hip hop, rock, house, 90's, and the much loved 80's. Turns out the style is called mashup and DJ Solomon the DJ that night is a master at it. We all had a good time and will definitely be back to dance some more!
