This place should really be called The Nasty. After hearing about this place on TV, I had high expectations. On TV, I heard people ranting and raving about the delicious food and saw energetic cashiers screaming orders... The cashier I had seemed like she didn't have a pulse.. could she have been more dull? I let this one slide as it WAS 9:30pm on a Monday night... I wouldn't want to be there either. So anyway, despite the lifeless cashier, I was still super pumped for my food. I ordered a chili cheese dog, onion rings, and sweat tea. The chili cheese dog couldn't possibly be more disgusting. I don't think what they put on there even qualifies as chili... it was more of a meat paste that resembled a pate... the actual hot dog wasn't even good. I've had better chili cheese dogs at the Dairy Queen... The onion rings were okay... a bit on the greasy side, but then again when aren't onion rings greasy? I don't remember absolutely hating them, but there was nothing about them to write home about. The batter wasn't particularly good or anything. Given that this place gets so much press, I was hoping for something more substantial. Instead it was subpar. I know this place is old and historically is a big deal to Atlanta but I wouldn't ever recommend it to anyone and I won't ever go back. The food was horrendous.

"You can find me in le club, bottle full of bub Look mami I got the X , if you into takin drugs Im into havin sex I aint into makin love So come give me a hug if you into getting rubbed" Something tells me "fiddy," wasn't talkin' bout this place, Willis. I will admit, I am not one for "clubs" in general, so when my good friend Audrey T made the outlandish suggestion that we actually go to "le club" on a Saturday night, I honestly thought she'd inhaled one too many paint fumes after helping me paint my pad this month. But in her defense, this place wasn't as bad as i had feared...well that was until the people got here. Wow, what a "colorful" variety of um, "fashion" and "personality" here. I think my favorites included the Barbie in the snake print pants and stripper heals and the crew of bottle blond douche bags and douche baguettes that rolled in like they owned the place. I'm sorry, but I thought I left Sunset Blvd in LA, hehe. Ooooh, and let's not forget the French dude, with a blazer and his shirt unbuttoned halfway down his hairy chest as he screamed, "Aaaayyy, I love it!!" Oy. Go away sir, just go away. As for the drinks, I think they are really trying hard to pull off what Bourbon & Branch does so flawlessly with their throwback to the days of gentlemen's drinks and sidecars, but they just didn't really hit the mark. I guess I just feel like this place is having a bit of an identity crisis. Is it exclusive or is it cheesy? Is it high end or will they let any tool in with a reservation? These answers, I don't know. I just didn't get it and felt much more at home during the Chinatown bar crawl we went on after we left this place.
