by Natalie Varnedoe on The best Aquarium I have ever been to. Ok, I've been to two others in my lifetime... If you can even call those places Aquariums lol... Those places being The Miami Seaquarium, and The one inside Atlantis in the Bahamas... The Georgia Aquarium has something for everyone from teeny tiny babies to Grandma... We bought the Pemberton Place Pass, with the same ticket you go can to The Georgia Aquarium, and the World of Coca-Cola for $36.50. You have the option of making an appointment, with the date and time. I really suggest this because you can avoid lines. We arrived at around 10am and the regular line had about 40 people, while the appointment line had 3 people. When we walked in, we didn't even know where to start... THE PLACE IS HUGE!!!!!! They have touch pools where you can touch everything from sting rays (without the stingers lol) to shrimp. The funniest and most annoying part of the visit was DEEPO. DEEPO is the mascot I would say of the Aquarium LOL. He is basically a ghetto Nemo... His voice is BEYOND ANNOYING. But the kids love him. I am definitely going to go back to take my little brother, It was so much fun.
by Stacey I. on As I looked beyond our table this evening I noticed the lovely decor, the funky blue neon lighting, and was reminded that people do dress up for dinner. Everyone was chatting and having a grand time. Then my two year old pushed aside the french fry cart and smeared her hand through the ketchup dish and on to my shirt. Yup - gone are those free evenings to sit around and savor time out with friends and loved ones! This place was nice. The seating outdoors looked a little more spacious however with a record high of 111 today it did not sound appealing. The inside seating was tight. The wait staff was friendly. I ordered a burger served medium. It came out medium rare. It was tasty and the bun was delicious. My hubby ordered the grilled cheese panini. It was made with three different cheeses and arugula. It was very good. The sweet potato french fries were well seasoned and I loved the aioli dipping sauce. I would warn if you do have young children - this probably is not the best place to take them. Delux does have carry out. Next time we go perhaps it will be for "date" night. :)
by Vinnie Piel on I'm a whore for pizza, straight up. So screw Pizza Hut and Domino's, this place is cream of the crop. And during happy hour, the house favorites are HALF off. HALF OFF! You canNOT beat that. I loved my thin crust pizza and they have some of the best ever! They also have some note worthy fries. They come with some aioli dipping sauce... SOO good. Tons more apps, salads, pizzas to choose from. And a great beer selection too.. They have happy hour every pincha dia! And for those non-spanish speakers it means they have happy hour every fucking day! The environment is very relaxed and kick back. I have no complaints about their service either. Good things to come from this place.
