by Soda Pop C. on Yay, a gay bar in my neighborhood! I've been several times for food and drink and really dig it. The food is a big pricy but worth it if you have the money. The chicken under a brick is SO good and NO, it is not served with fake mashed potatoes- why would anyone say that?! The food is very good. Next, the cocktails- the change seasonally and are very good and well poured. I like the Raspberry Lime Rickey but my favorite one is the blueberry gin cocktail that's featured during the summer. It's so sweet and refreshing. The ambiance is nice- think dark woods, leather booths and colorful lighting fixtures. Sometimes when I go it's crowded and other times it's dead- I can't quite figure it out. Showtunes night (Tuesday) is a lot of fun if you like musicals- the gays and their hags singing along to Annie and Wicked. How can you go wrong?
by Shawna N. on The set up for this place was pretty legit. There were multple places to dance and an awesome bar & seating area. The downstairs area was pretty awesome. However, they played crapass music on every dance floor. I don't even remember any of the songs because they were crap ass songs that nobody has ever heard or even cares about. I'm always down for a free cover charge, so can't complain about that. Although some girl told me I looked bored. which was probably true. The locale was pretty cool. I don't remember any of the staff being particularly friendly or helpful. The bartender took forever to get us drinks, which it totally lame because us girls were looking preeetty foxy, and foxy people just don't wait to get their drinks on. Waiting is for peasants, bartender! As soon as they get a different DJ, then I am sooo updating my review and being all about this place. Set up doesn't mean jack if you don't have music past 2002.
