PACKED. I got in around 11:40pm (had a really easy time getting in due to sheer luck). The person I was with was looking around the floor and exclaiming that there were no people dancing. That changed almost EXACTLY at midnight when crowds started flooding the club. Music was fine, heavy on the hip-hop and remixed with a very heavy techno flair. Unfortunately though, the people there are EXTREMELY rude. Girls flail their limbs, hair, jewelery, and just about anything they have to flail any which way they can. Guys aren't as nasty, but the girls are straight up rude and push around and about you to get to where they want to be. So are the servers, but that's almost understandable. I've been to crowded clubs, but never encountered people who were so RUDE about getting from point A to point B. And the dance floor gets more and more packed as the night continues. By 1am (after being there for just a little more than an hour), I was too exhausted of the crazy crowd, the wildly spinning DJ (not to mention that the music randomly stopped for about 2-3min. around 12:40am, wth?) , and of being squished and unable to freely dance. So I peaced out and went home. It's definitely an experience. I certainly wouldn't pay the full $20 cover for it, but for a no cover night, it's actually pretty fun

I finally had the opportunity to check out Ruby Skye. And what better reason to venture to the City than to see Armin Van Buuren spin? Honestly, I was expecting a disappointment,,with all the hype that Ruby Skye has and all. But I was definitely wrong. Ruby definitely had one of the best sound system's I've ever heard. It could have been due to the size of the room, but my ears were in heaven. Upstairs gives VIPers a view of the dance floor and the stage. Detriments? Ridiculously annoying drunks, old single men looking for a hook-up, and the AC unit that blows air colder than Christmas in Antarctica to the front row. Thanks. Now i have blue balls....literally. Also, the lighting for Armin SUCKED. After seeing photos of Tiesto when he spun, Armin looked like a first grade talent show. 3 sets of floodlights and a projector on the wall? sweet....where are the lasers and LCD screens. Cmon Ruby! I know you're hiding them SOMEWHERE
