by michelle y. on Racist pizza craps. If i could give them -10 stars I would. I've always been a big fan of Pat's - never bothered to try Geno's. Esp after the whole "We're in america, speak english" fiasco, which made me less interested in this establishment, which is impossible since i had 0 interest in trying Genos in the first place. Anyway... Last weekend after a night out in olde city we all decided to head over to Pat's for a late night snack. The line for Pat's was ridiculosly long compared to the total of 10 people in line for Geno's. Being in the clearly sober state a few of us were in, we decided to try Geno's. Worst. Idea. Ever. First off, that lady taking orders is one big meanie. hmph. No seriously though, she was a beeyatch. I may not have been sober but I'm sober enough to remember that. Secondly, they have severe "patriotic" issues. Last but not least, the cheesesteak sucked. And when you're drunk, there is no such thing as food sucking. Moral of the story: Don't come here, even if the line is long at Pat's. There's a reason why the line at Geno's is exponentially shorter.
by Taylor A. on You better think again if you see that "$10 All you can eat sushi/salad lunch" sign and think it's a good idea. It's not. First sign. It was noon and there were 3 tables sat. Friggin' everyone loves sushi, and everyone loves a good deal, but no one is here! My gf and another cool friend met me there for lunch on my request because I'm a sucker for sushi and bargains. The waiter just kept flittering by and barely gave us a moment to ask him anything. Eventually he came by and took our first order and said salad and soup would be out soon. You can order three rolls (which come with four pieces each) at a time. Why am I even telling you this, you BETTER NOT GO HERE! I ordered twice, and in total got these dumpy horrible rolls: Negihama: Yellowtail and scallion. No flavor in the fish or rice. Rice tastes like publix sushi rice. Crunchee roll. Usually covered in teriyaki sauce but I asked them to leave it off. Probably the best roll, but nothing special. Cooked salmon roll. Not bad with the sweet glaze, but take the glaze off and you figure out the sushi tastes super fishy. Suuuuuuuuuuuper slow for lunch, the sushi blew, and the waiter was terrible. Never coming back for lunch. Maybe I'll check it out some nice sunny day and sit on the cool looking deck they have. I suggest the owners/managers come in disguise for the sushi lunch to see how bad it is.
