saturday night as seriously "off the hook" and "poppin", yo. easily the best clubbing experience i've had in a long time. got in via guestlist and OPEN BAR til 11. the 2nd dance floor was massive and accommodating, and it got PACKED. there's a nice smoking area where you can catch air (and plenty of 2nd hand smoke) because it gets pretty stuffed in there. no surprise because everyone is seriously getting DOWN. after the open bar + a very strong AMF, i definitely was attracting unnecessary attention dancing w a female myself (lets just say the next day my lower back, arms, and thighs were in some serious pain). the DJ was extremely on point, he never played a "whatever" song where you'd take a break and go get a drink, all his songs were hits and just kept it going without a pause. very very very awesome night. huge minus for parking, but that's about it. perfect night at the club.

I attended the downstairs venue of Webster Hall to hear some bands. The sound was great, the bands were pretty good. The place is pretty cool. The reason for only two stars is because I opened a tab at the bar, and they put a hold on $150 on a $24 tab. It is now five days later, and they STILL HAVE NOT REIMBURSED! The girl at Webster blamed the bank, so I called the bank. The woman at the bank said this happens all the time, and it has nothing to do with the bank. Webster Hall has to credit my account the $150, not the bank(which makes sense, because I used to tend bar). The bank encouraged me to place a fraud claim against Webster, which I'm on the verge of doing if the money isn't reimbursed. Bottom line, what a silly policy if they can't keep track of the charges. $150 isn't a great sum of money, but if you only drank $24 worth of booze, it makes no sense. DON'T OPEN A TAB! Better yet, go somewhere else.
