The first REAL club I've been to in Philly. It's expensive yea but all clubs are.. and compared to clubs in NYC or Boston this is nothing. The music is great, dance floor is amazing, people are really good looking. The dress code is strict, but if you know that ahead of time theres really no excuse not to look good. Just wear dress shows with your jeans... not that complicated. If you looking to dance to REAL club music and not god damn sweet Caroline that they play everywhere else. Come here.

I used to live in Philadelphia between 2001 and 2006. This year, 2010, I decided to return with my wife on a vacation to Philadelphia. One of my favorite places was dinner at the Continental restaurant. I remembered the Chilean Bass and wanted my wife to experience it... Well, as you walk into the Continental Midtown (note: there are two Continental ~ I like the midtown, because it has a more unique setting), you will note that the restaurant have these like bird cage seats. They are pretty cool. I asked the hostess to seat us in these seats. My wife loved it; however, as for me, after sitting in the bird seat for 2 minutes, I felt motion sickness (yes, the bird cage swings)... oh well. Food: Appetizer - My wife and I shared the French Onion soup with dumplings. Basically, it was the soup wrapped in a dumpling with cheese toasted on top. It was pretty good. I give this a definite 4 star. Entree - My wife had the Chilean SeaBass with a side of sweet potato and I had the Lobster Mac&Cheese. Well, I was a bit disappointed in the SeaBass. I remembered that it was a bit "more" than what they served. Let's put it this way. It was not very filling for the price that we paid $24 bucks a pop. As for the Lobster Mac& Cheese, it was ok. Nothing too special. I wished they served it with a side of salad or something else. It was ughh boring.. I would give both meal a solid 2.5 stars. Afterwards, we share a cheesecake dessert (nothing to advertise about -- did they buy it from cheese cake factory?) Drinks--- my wife doesn't drink and I rarely do. However, this evening, I ordered the Astronaut. Of note, it used to be called the Buzz Adren. It is an orange vodka martini. Not bad ~ I had a few of these... a 4 star drink. Atmosphere -- a bit noisy. It is more or less a yuppy crowd. And, a lot of wanna be pretty and rich people... Service -- our waitress was not very attentive. She never once filled my wife's drink. I had to ask her at the end of our meal. However, I must admit that our bus boy was very good. 3 stars... In the end, overall, the food was average, service was average, and the atmosphere was so so... For the meal and drinks for 2, the bill ran up to about $90 (excl tips).. I went in hoping to find my restaurant of the past, but left sorely disappointed... deservedly a 3 star or lower here....

I love Triple Crown. The most diverse crowd I've seen in a couple of years. The staff and owner are super cool and make us feel at home. Being a club, you would be so surprised of their food menu. You would think it's just your usual bar food, but surprisingly the chef is really good and makes some tasty dishes! Taco Tuesday is awesome! $2 tacos, and they are really good! They have chxn, beef, fish and pork.. I have yet to go for their Thurs nite pizza deal, but that will be next. Wed and Sun nite are fun if your like me and love to dance!
