Nice ambiance, but overall pretty bad. Clearly a mismanaged place. Lowlights include: 1. Bad first impression; would a "will call" sign kill ya? 2. Then the cheesy table at the restaurant door was a bad omen for the caliber of the night. 3. The valet was in front...not where the website said it was. Though maybe it was in both places for all I know...since I didn't go down there, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. 4. Ugly and dying floral decor in the will call area. That's just bewildering and sad. 5. LATE dj (went to a dj event in the lounge). Seriously...start on time!!!! Then, really late, some other dj (or random person) played some music. Then, AN HOUR AND TEN MINUTES LATE, the real dj came on. 6. There was a projection (music video clips) on a wall...and a big divider curtain blocking it. What??? 7. Too few bartenders at the bar, we gave up and went to our reserved seating area, which turned out to be a mistake because.... 8. The service was virtually non-existent at the tables. After an hour there, I had yet to see a drink menu other than the bottle service menu. Should bottle service come with plastic cups? 9. One of the staffers was chewing gum. 10. And as a final kick, the kitchen was closed. That's right: 150+ people in the restaurant, most relatively affluent, and noooooo food. Crazy. Even if it had been a limited bar menu, that would be understandable. Hell, I would have settled for some rice cracker snack mix or some edamame. So hard? Even if there's a dj event, when I go to a restaurant, I expect FOOD. Just seems like no one is thinking about the guest experience very much. Hope it improves... The restaurant was pretty and well-lit. If I can get over my bad first impression, I'll go back fir dinner sometime.

I went here for the first day above seventy since 2009. It was wonderful. They don't really have a good selection of beer, or food, but being on the water, outdoors when it is nice is great. It's a series of a barge, and two boats and you can sit anywhere. They allow dogs and $25 for a bucket of beer, 6 beers isn't bad for Manhattan. I can't wait to go back when they are open for the season and they are stocked up.
