by Andrew C. on The college-town bar you wish your college had near by. One part man-cave and one part "everybody knows your name" beer bar, how can you not enjoy yourself? No drama or major assholes hanging around, it's a friendly crowd no matter the hour. Until about 10pm it's an older male crowd, at which point somehow a switch gets flipped and the college crowd/Cal Tech-ies come pouring in. (Reasonably) clean, great live music, friendly bartenders. Owners are frequently behind the bar and there to help out as well. Hard to find (so google it first) but recommended for a good beer and good company.

"MSTRKRFT - Bounce (The Bloody Beetroots Remix)"'s mantra "All I do is PARTY" was on exhibit whilst some of the front stage jumped up with the electro-punk DJs and danced, people trying to surf at a club, mosh pits being formed, and intensity all around. The bass made my innards shake in the finest way possible and the venue had a really great, interested crowd. Amazing club for showing and holding such an amazing show.
