by van n. on i came here lookin for margaritas but a regular at the bar convinced me to get the pina colada. im not much of a pina colada fan since they tend to be syrupy sweet and fake tasting. the best i've had was in cuba when they made it with fresh coconuts and pineapple and let u pour in ur own rum :). the dude told me they serve it here in a fresh coconut they hack off with a machete...a MACHETE! sold!!!...it ended up bein a small butcher-type knife, not a machete :'(. but damn, he was rite about the pina colada!!! i slurped that sucker dry then scraped out the meat inside to eat. mmmmm.... surprisingly the margaritas are meh. altho for some reason when you get them blended they taste better! perfect for a hot summer day! the food is also meh. but the dips you get with the chips...pretty tasty! otherwise, a pretty fun atmosphere. and the waitstaff are pretty cool and fun too :)
by Jenny L. on Jillian's has a dozen pool tables in a separate room. It's a great venue to throw an event. They have a wide variety of appetizers and a full bar (with servers walking around to take your order). Very accommodating to us when we lingered on way later than what we paid for, but we did only stay on for another round of drinks :) I've only been in the main room once, on a random night to watch a game on the huge screen. And then after that they broke out the karaoke? The vibe definitely varies from night to night, and largely depends on the customers themselves.
