its a good bar to hang out at. they play really good hip hop and rap music. only downfall is that they have a $5 cover when every other bar on polk street has no cover but thats not a big deal

I used to be the most judgmental person of Trigger. I had the worst impression of the club from what people said. After mentioning that, this is my interpretation. The first person i run into every time i arrive is Christian and he is always smiling and accommodating. Great door staff who recognize regulars and leads them right in. The bartenders are fast, try and get you a drink asap. Plus, my favorite bartender Sergio is always there with a smile on his face. Trigger ACCEPTS CREDIT CARDS! One of the most important things to me when i am going out! The smoking patio is cramped and unfortunately it is closed off to where the smoke gathers at a certain time. I am a huge fan of Trigger, i enjoy spending my Monday, Friday and Saturday nights there! Must i admit, i'm there on Thursdays as well...

The typical rule for me is that I just go to nightclubs to drink and dance. Nothing more. I don't expect food from such places to be great so get dinner first before heading over here. The ambience was more of an asian theme. There are several different floors. And dancing, of course, is on the lower deck. We went on a Saturday night and the DJ was alright...they played some really old songs too. I did like the diverse crowd. I only give it 2 stars because like all clubs, they overcharge drinks. Girls have it a bit easier because they usually don't have to pay cover. We got there closer to 10:30ish or close to 11 (after the guestlist closed) and were able to get in without having to wait in line...I guess either the bouncers were cool (they still made the guys pay $20 though) or the economy is really really bad and they wanted to let in as many people as they could! But I was with great company so I had a great time!!
