In no mans land between chelsea and the very overpriced meatpacking, frying pan is always a good option for the warm summer nights, but the novelty of drinking on an old ship sort of wears off- and after awhile, you realize, the burgers are just ok, the beers, well, coronas pretty much taste the same everywhere..and, well, its a ship, and not a nice one at that. can't deny that it has it's own unique charm, but also, keep in mind that eventually, like your charming crush, the charm and charisma eventually dies and you move on. After a summer in nyc, i have moved on and sailed away.
by Demanding T. on Tasty tacos! However, not into the gourmet style interpretation. I like the straight-up Tijuana style. These guys have another location in the Sunset.. 19th n Irving where I live. Kool place for checking out games. I do however would reccomend this place to certain people and friends fo mine... But to a straight-up Mexican or any of my Mexican friends... NO WAY! Would I go back?? Only If I happen to be around it after bar hoping and my Marina/Russian Hill freinds drag me in there. I also want to add that this place is pricey.
