Come on Webster Hall, you know and I know that you book some of the best acts. Just make your venue 21+ already so I don't have to deal with swarms of drunk freshmen. If I had to pay more than $1 (RSVP with a promoter, I usually use GBH but there are a few), I wouldn't even come for the cheap PBR and well shots at the basement bar.

So either i was really drunk, or I actually liked this place. Either way, I had a good time here! This place is HUGE. There must have been about 3 different bars, a large dancefloor, a room with a pool table and shuffleboard, and like 2 separate smoking patios. Never even knew this place existed, even after having been to Toro Cantina downstairs a couple times for $2 tacos. Came here early in the evening on a Saturday night and didn't have to pay to get in...off to a good start. The crowd was pretty mixed, and it was busy, but not so busy to the point where its annoying. The drinks were reasonably priced and the bartenders friendly (or as friendly as a bartender in LA can be). I guess this place is open all day. I love me a bar that i know i can rely on at noon on a Tuesday!

We go here on Fridays for happy hour. The location is a bit sucky, it's next to freeway entrances and it could get ugly on Friday afternoons. Oh and there's that valet parking I hate. However once you get past all that car stuff, the staff is friendly, happy hour menu is cheap, try the margarita on rocks it's only 3 bucks! there's indoor and outdoor seatings. We sat outside last time, there are heaters so it doesn't get cold at all. Did I mention there's a dance floor? Man, People are happy here! I'm not much of a dancer but with so many groovers I ended up bumping a little bit before I left. There are also free appetizers. I say go to this place if you're looking to get more friendly with your co-workers.
