by Alexis Sterle on Great place to go for happy hour and after hours. The music was pretty good but as the night progresses it turns from lounge to semi club. Albeit small, they do have a separate area if you want to dance but I prefer the reserve tables on the other side of the room so I can chat and drink with friends. GO here if you dont want to pay the $20 cover at Temple. I mean really? In this economic times clubs still charge a ridiculous cover? Come on! I guess its true what they say, "With age come wisdom." If I was still in college I would've been gullible enough pay the fee. We (8 people) showed before 10 and it was not popping at all. There were no tables available but the bartender allowed us to sit down at someone else table since that party haven't arrived. The price for drinks were reasonable for that kind of establishment and slightly less than Temple. Well, as the night went on we were offered the table because the party never arrived so A++++ to Eve Lounge for doing that for us. Lots of Asians predominantly men who kept gawking at my friends. I only spotted a few "gangstas". No dress code. I played the role of the "cock blocker" and I played it well. In turn, I acquired a "wing girl" = infinite possibilities. It was a typical clubby evening, ran into people I havent seen in ages, encountered a few mean girls who thought they were THAT hot, NOT!, guys who seem to have a chip on their shoulder, random girls who cant hold their liquor and wanting to cry on your shoulder, long wait in line for the bathroom. textbook. I like that they allow in and out. The bouncer is cool. I wanted to buy him a drink but he graciously declined. I look across the street at Temple and think to myself , "those suckers." So dont be a sucker my fellow Rateclubpers and head over the Eve Lounge.

by amy j. on This is a fantastic place to see live bands. The interior is absolutely beautiful. The staff are friendly. The location isn't the greatest, but if you're willing to park outside of a strip club or in the very expensive parking garage, it's well worth it. You can get up close and personal with your favourite performers. The balcony has plenty of tables if you feel like sitting. The sound is amazing.
