by julie p. on busby's was my first official "let's get in line to go out" lounge experience in LA. arrived around 10 and saw a line, but thaaaank goodness it went by super quick. just from scoping the line, i could tell there would be a lot of awkward asians dry humping by the end of the drunken night i came with a group and had a spacious reserved area. drinks are well portioned but service was sloooooooow. i would forget we ordered rounds because it took so long. music was questionable. the dj seriously couldn't make up his mind. we danced near the stage and suddenly i felt huge drops of water splatter down my head and face and freaked out...not good (it apparently was the AC). girls' restroom was surprisingly empty. they turned off the music and kicked everyone out by 1:40am LAME 4 stars but i'm sure it's only b/c of the fun crowd i was with. otherwise there's nothing super special about busby;s
by John B. on Only beer and wine here, but some great selections. They have some excellent pizzas, and a great antipasto plate. I like the Triple-Two more for a light meal, it's a very casual setting. Really cool owners too.
