The first time I went to Dreamz I had a good time. I didn't realize that the main large room only opens up at a certain time, so you have to stay in the room you walk into, until that time. I got annoyed with the young ladies always offering me flasks from what looked like a home-made science kit..filled with I don't know what! After a while I wanted to say, "Don't call me, I'll call you". Dang...Can a sistah get her swag surf on? Oh yeah...and when I went, for the first time, a few months ago, Frank Ski was on the 1's & 2's...which is where I first heard that song...we were so crunk he hadda play it twice!

All Salsa dancers - come here on Saturday night. Johnny Polanco and his band played here when I went for the first time last Saturday and it was amazing music. But the dancers were stylin! Great atmosphere and very friendly people and good dancers.. The night we went there was a private party on the top floor, so the salsa took place on the first floor and outside - which was nice - i love hot la nights. We also found parking nearby for free. link: http://www.thegranadaa...

Hm. Got drunk at the Bigfoot Lounge on Polk in Nob Hill and decided (after the bartender set the bar on fire = true!) to go to another place. We got about... 4 steps out the door and I saw the Cinch across the street.... I knew it was a gay friendly place and I am a gay friendly gal, but decided to pull one over on my friends and boyfriend since they didn't know. We went and they were definitely noticing that there was a lack of female clientele. Odd, but not abnormal. Then... one friend went to the mens room and came back a little shocked - it was a huge troth with mirrors all over the place... so you can see everyone in the mens room and what is going down... or up. Heh. And then the other female in our group went to find the ladies room and couldn't. It IS a mystery - is there a girls room at the Cinch? I liked the atmosphere, we all were welcome, I felt and I would go back. Their beer selection wasn't great, though. I had an Amstel. And the decor was a bit dodgy.
