In no mans land between chelsea and the very overpriced meatpacking, frying pan is always a good option for the warm summer nights, but the novelty of drinking on an old ship sort of wears off- and after awhile, you realize, the burgers are just ok, the beers, well, coronas pretty much taste the same everywhere..and, well, its a ship, and not a nice one at that. can't deny that it has it's own unique charm, but also, keep in mind that eventually, like your charming crush, the charm and charisma eventually dies and you move on. After a summer in nyc, i have moved on and sailed away.
by edward s. on Tre'-Gay. Some clubs are exclusive because of real live supply and demand. These clubs have exceptional service, beautiful clientele and amazing style. Then there are clubs that think it goes the other way around, like vessel, that if they act snotty and make people wait in their smelly alley for ten minutes before going inside it will make the people feel lucky to actually pay $12 for a poorly made martini. Lame, and Vallejo seriously in the house.
