OK my first rateclubs review. So much pressure, especially coming straight off the blocks with 5 stars. Preface: I never really experienced a "gourmet" burger. Where I'm from, a burger is as simple as a patty stuck between two buns (add cheese for those special occasions). When I think of a gourmet restaurant I think of white table clothes, silverware/cutlery to match every finger, and a waiter who calls me Mr. "So and so". This place thankfully didn't match. I walked in with an open mind. At first I was a little skeptical. The area in which the restaurant was located didn't seem to match the hype (i.e. Richard Blais, top chef, best burger, etc.) Approaching the restaurant however, my viewpoint changed. Very trendy and the décor was on point. (see: picture frames around flat screen TV's at the bar) The flipped booths and tables on the floor and ceiling was an added touch. The hostess was friendly and tried hard to update us on our status of when we will be sitting next. Oh I guess I should mention they don't take reservations... first time I went was with 12 people, waited three hours. Needless to say, we found the bar and I we passed the time with our friends Jack, Jose, and their dog.. Blue moon... I digress. We got seated and read over the menu, which had an array of different style of burgers... this is where the "gourmet" part of the equation comes into play. Scrolling through I noticed the many different styles of burgers; I realized then that this place was far from my typical two buns and a patty norm. Having spent some time in Texas, a state known for many things, including their chili, I immediately ordered it as my appetizer. Best chili I ever had.. Done next question! Following the chili, I ordered the butchers cut burger. No joke, hella good! Perfectly cooked and seasoned. Yes it was a little smaller than I was expecting.. Hence "boutique", but the chili and the fries made up for it. Long story short.. Great food, great atmosphere, and reasonably priced.

Korean Karaoke! Parking: -Street parking free after 6pm or meter other times. -Valet in the back of the place (go in from side) for. . . I think it was $2 or $3. Atmosphere: -Go up the stairs of main lobby past the security guards. It's kinda odd set up, but it's interesting, very trendy kinda look. -There are many size rooms from one for 4 people at $20 and rooms for up to 50 people for $70. -They have pretty nice rooms, we did one for 12 people, had tons of drinks and soup and it was $18 a person for 3 hours. So I think it was pretty cheap. -Watch out for the hard seats, they looks soft but not. -Also do a mic check and play with the sound quality or ask the people to fix it for your levels. Make sure to make reservations

Came here for several dinners and late night drinks...not because the food was great... but because it was within proximity of my hotel. Try to get a table on the 2nd floor, it's quieter and you can enjoy the big buddha from afar. Food was normal, but I liked their creative vegetable dish titled "Buddhas Harmonized Vegetable Feast for the Minor Gods"
