Haute may be très small, but it's got a nice vibe -dark and chic with a nice outdoor patio, and it's ABLE to throw a hot party (I'm sure that it doesn't always). I enjoyed myself. How could I not with no cover and open bar. Sucks for you if you choose to attend a crappy promoted night full of douches, uglies, or conceited asians. $10 parking lot next door, and the Abbey's right across the street. A star off for: -Single occupancy restroom (come on! a line of chicks w/ small bladders who need to upchuck or are on that time of the month is not cool) -dance floor was tiny and not happening -and unfriendly weho resident hipsters I'm still confused on how to pronounce "haute"... "oat", "hot"??
by Shadi S. on I've been to Miami a couple times but I had heard about Klutch from a friend of mine so I decided to visit on a Saturday night during my vaca down there. The place was very South Beach - which I didn't mind because I was there for the full experience. Management was very friendly and accommodating - it's a new club so they're definitely trying to get regular clientele. I loved the appearance of the club from the outside - all white. The club has a huge upstairs area, as well as a massive outdoor area. Unfortunately, it had been raining that day so their outdoor dance floor was closed but I got to take a peek and it was awesome, with palm trees and everything. Music was top 40/hip hop. The VIP room had its own DJ (also hip hop) and I was (un)lucky enough to run into the Jersey Shore boys in their VIP section, surrounded by their bodyguards. There are typical SoBe dancers performing around you, as well as trying to get you to buy body jello shots. I told you, full Miami experience. Oh, and drink prices are standard Miami prices ($15+). The place got packed around 1230am and the music was at its best then. I had a blast dancing my ass off and would definitely drop by again next time I'm in town - especially to dance under the night sky in the outdoor area.
