by Greg M. on I love SF Bakery. It's a basic, plain, unpretentious coffee place run by a bunch of friendly slackers. The coffee is good, the breakfast sandwiches are huge and awesome (the croissants are particularly buttery). They used to be painfully slow, but the last two times I've been there service was quick. (In the olden days, you'd get your sandwich before your coffee, which was a pain). A nice, relaxing place to get some breakfast on a lazy morning. The wife and I ride our bikes there sometimes, though if you wait too late the Alamo Draft House crowd is coming in and you have to be careful in the parking lot.
by sasha i. on Roe is hands down The Best Club in the SF bay area. Trendy and hip. Good crowd of people. Great music. Impressive DJ's. On some nights the Club opens up to all 3 levels, offering 3 levels of music and DJ's. The bartenders are very quick, and make very tasty drinks. The club is open Fridays and Saturdays. Both nights are good. Saturday nights tend to get a bit more crowded. One last highlight to the Club-- The Very Hot Bartender, Yaniv. Wow. . . . . .
