by Rufina Christina on waited in line for what seemed like an eternity but luckily there was no cover for us. Soon as we got in though it was a typical club scene, super crowded and people dancing up a storm. We had a great time and i'd def go back.
by Crystal S. on I love ice cream! Mexican Vanilla is my all-time favorite, something I discovered at Amy's, and I like some Junior Mints smushed in too. I'm lactose intolerant though, which is a different problem unto itself. My relationship with ice cream is so one-sided: why can't you just love me back?!

That was the total vibe I got when I walked in...the only catch is that the lights do stay on! =P $10 or $8 w/ membership and expensive drinks- just like the bars and clubs out in the city, woohooo! Dancers will form around the DJ booths after a couple of drinks and later on towards the early night ending.. 10PM. Bars were set up on every other corner, DJ booths were in every other room and people were everywhere drinking the night away while soaking up the museum atmosphere. You get the whole experience for fraction of the cost during the day and without kids running in circles around you or hogging all the fun activities...You do get all the half drunk bigger kids instead though. Right when you walk in, the first center room has two bars, seats and pre-packaged meals like sandwiches or hummus. If you're hungry, make a right when you walk in to the Academy Cafe where there's better selections and freshly prepared. Overall, what a great nightlife experience and would definitely come back for a very laid back environment. **CASH only at the bars, free coat check in and lines do form before the doors open. $10 parking garage right underneath the Academy or street parking for free.
