by Ed L. on Don't let the fobby name or neon sign fool you, KoKo is a very American dive bar serving up a great happy hour. The place has a Southern, whiskey drinking attitude yet it is still a place where you can chill with friends and enjoy a conversation. The whiskey with a bacon strip combo is a must try for happy hour (it is like the new wine and cheese). Not in the greatest location or upscale setting but give KoKo a try after work and it should be fun.
by Lacey R. on The staff was great - funny and friendly - but I was slightly disappointed in the atmosphere. I only had one beer so I don't know how the other drinks were, and the music is definitely played too loud. It was a struggle to try and speak to anyone. It also leaned towards the empty side for a Saturday night, but at least the music that was playing to loudly was good! I would try it again.
