by RIKETA C. on Sigh...another mediocre nightclub post for me. Normally I avoid these types of spots because the experience just never does it for me. Usually when I go out I see it as a personal challenge to be as frugal as possible, because nighlife drains your wallet and I haven't had too many top notch experience to make me say "hmmm-that was worth the money!" I am usually good at this but on this night not so good. 1. Flask? Check 2. Cocktail made in travel cup from home? Check (I usually drink this while parked in my car before I go into the club to get my buzz started. 3. Bypassed vallet and roll into the free parking area? Check doing good so far.... 4. Get in for free before 12? Uh...not exactly. Shit. I was supposed to be going to a birthday party that was being held there for one of my friends and she told me that it was free before 12am. They informed me at the door that it was free before 10, not 12. So I had to pay $20! Son of a &%6$#@! I almost nearly had a free night. I was 2 seconds from turning around and taking my ass home, but I remembered that I told my friend I would be there, so I unhappily pulled out a $20 and paid. The atmposphere is nice on the inside (although it could be bigger). The VIP was nice, and the DJ played a mix of old and new jams. I didn't order any food so I cant speak on that, but there were free drinks for the ladies until 12, so I took advantage of that. (I should have stuck to my flask because those drinks were made with McCormicks and it felt like I had smurfs dancing on my skull the next day)...but anywhooo... I like the way the floor is centered and on a platform with stairs in the middle of the club. I would go back. But I will definitely be going when it is free. I just dont dont believe in paying a ton of money to party anymore.
by Raian V. on There's usually a long ass line outside, what makes it worst is there's a building that don't let you stand in front so there's a huge gap between the line. The inside is big but because of that huge Lounge in the middle, the space and walk way is small and narrow. There's another floor on the basement that is basically a huge dancefloor and it's always packed and stuffy down there. There's no room to dance at all and and when you walk you have to squeeze through people both upstairs and downstairs. The place is average looking IMO, when I saw photos of the club I was excited because it look really nice but what a let down. Beside the middle lounge in the middle which looks nice, the rest of the club was eh. I remember going here the 3rd time and we waited in line for 30 or so minutes and when we got to the door they won't let us in. They said that we look like the guys that started trouble before and won't let us in. I'm like this fool is effin with me right? Hell nah,I did not drive one hour and wait in line for 30 more minutes so I can't get in. But whatever we left and bounce to another club.
