Well, it's a bowling alley. I've never been there when it's busy, but I'm also not sure that I've ever been there on a Friday or Saturday night. The prices are pretty good for games and shoes, and I've never partaken of the dollar night, but I've heard there is one. It's clean, huge and well-lit. The music is atrocious, even for someone who tends to like main-stream pop (when I'm bowling- there's a time and place for everything!). The service is... tolerable. In one night, Our lane shut down 3 different times. Twice it just said we had reached our limit (as in, what we had pre-paid), which we hadn't, and we had to go all the way up to the counter to get it fixed. The 3rd time was near closing, and our lane clogged with 1 or 2 balls and several pins, and the whole thing just shut off. It took a good 5 minutes to flag someone down for help, and once we did we waited another 10 or 15 minutes for help before deciding to heck with it, we're just going home. We went up to the counter, and they said they couldn't fix it and would refund our money for that game. Cool, I wasn't in the mood to argue for a refund (but I would have if need be). The food is typical bar food, but not the good kind. It's tolerable if you're hungry or don't care. Heck, sometimes crappy nachos with pumped-out cheese sauce is what you want. Usually it's not. The beer prices aren't cheap. I wouldn't call them expensive, but for a bowling alley in this part of town I would say they're $.50 or $1 overpriced. I like coming here on a night when there's no other dollar bowling night around. Otherwise I'd rather go to DartBowl, crowded as it is.

When I used to go out with buddies, this was one of the places I'd go. Mostly with my bouncer & promoter friends outside, too loud inside. :) We'd usually walk a couple rounds to see if anything "interesting" would be going on, say hi to whomever was resident dj, then go back outside & watch all the crazies out front. The front of this place looks like it has no entrance, untillll....they lift the secret door & bring out the social dividing ropes! Parking sucks everywhere around here during these hours, sometimes you'll find street parking, but usually its about $10 or so around the club. Last I was here, it was leftside tables, leftside bar, rightside outdoor seating/standing, inside middle dance floor separated by a rail, weird, then the deejay is in a little raised booth next to the dance floor, then to the left is a little walkway near the restrooms & another outdoor smoking area next to the 2nd bar. Eh, bathrooms always suck at these places. Anyway, depending on what night, the crowds always change. Clubs just aren't fun for me anymore, I'd rather go snorkeling, or be eating freshly baked bread.

I actually had a good time here. I am assuming this is because my friend knows everyone there (not that we were super VIP) but it wasn't an issue getting in or getting drinks. People were pretty friendly and dance floor was fun.
