Grace Tavern makes going to a neighborhood bar fun again. All of the bland bars of Rittenhouse Square have managed to bore me in under three months of living in Philadelphia. Grace's bartenders are excellent. They actually care about their beer and ensure you enjoy the right ones. The vibe of the bar is the perfect mix of eclectic music, bar/table/counter locations to enjoy your drink, and folks from the neighborhood. I walked ten blocks in the freezing cold last night to go there, when I live three doors down from Irish Pub, which is a more schizophrenic version of a neighborhood bar (that weird back seating area?). That's commitment.

Karaoke is usually not my thing, but if you are going to do it. do it in style. Great for party's the private rooms are amazing. I love how you just press a button for service. Only downfall. the remote to pick the songs is all in Korean.
