Ooo boyyy. I don't know what to say. Wait yes I do. I really want to say sometimes everyone has a bad experience or something or another but this was like deja vous when it comes to how I feel about another Atlanta club. (you can wander through my 4 and 5 star reviews and you'll see which club i'm talking about) I would love to give this place another try and maybe that'll happen if the opportunity presents itself, but I wouldn't suggest this when my friends and I are going out. I want to say although i'm at a point where i'm kinda over the clubs, or I should say the people that frequent them, I do like dance clubs, bars, restaurants, whatever, etc etc, but I just wasn't feeling this place at all. The drinks are a bit pricey but I wasn't expecting them not to be. If you've seen Gold Room advertisements then you should know the place isn't going to have a dollar draft night or inexpensive well drinks. The interior of the club is nice as well, the staff is friendly (bouncers, bar staff, etc.) but the place does get pretty packed to the point where you're not quite sure where the bathroom is or if thats the front entrance/ exit and the place is not too big. Nothing bad happened here but it's just not my scene. If you're into Jersey Shore, wannabes, or people who shouldn't but think theyre prettier than they really are then you'll like this place. My 2 stars is just based on the vibe and the people I watched there. Good people watching. lol Ooo one complaint though but it's another thing you wouldn't not expect. I have been to some loud clubs, and yes I know clubs are loud, but I seriously couldn't hear myself think here nor could the bartender hear me when I was trying to order a drink. A bit annoying but thats to be expected. Gold Room, you're pretty and flashy, you're staff is quite nice, your drinks are typical over priced club drinks but i'm just not feelin' ya. And guys please ween yourselves off of the Affliction, Ed Hardy, or anything else that looks as though it may fit a small child or has any type of cheesy embroidered design on it that for some reason you felt was worth paying $100 for and looks good. ;o) Just sayin.

my 100th review (unless rateclubs takes down another one of my previous reviews) comes courtesy of frying pan.  its been a long road, from circle nightclub to frying pan.  thanks rateclubs for the journey.  now confirm me to a damn party already. i was torn about giving this place 4 stars or 5 stars.  upon many sleepless nights, i decided on 4 stars.  this place is just too out of the way.  26th street all the way at chelsea piers for drinks.  i suggest taking any subway to 23rd and take the m23 crosstown. the place itself is great.  it gets crowded here.  prices are a bit much ($37) for a pitcher of sangria.  but they sure taste good.  the view is amazing.  if you go all the way to the front, you could see the sunset.  so as its setting, i tried to get all romantic comedy in my life.  i look to my left, my friend yvette.  awww.  i look to my right, my friend gelina.  awww.  i look straight ahead, my friend carlos.  WTF?  get outta here. to the sides of the main area (which is huge) are two boats for additional seating and shitters.  there's even a dance floor underneath one of em in the basement of the boat. think titanic where rose did her tip toe-ing thing, except diritier.  so i go check it out and there were only a handful of people there.  but they were break dancing, spinning on their heads kinda shit.  so i feel all insecure walking in there with my dreaded two steps.  i walk on the dance floor, wave, and turned back around. but once again, the view was great.  yup, i met a girl there with fake boobs.  great view.  but seriously, come check out the scenery.  they're 34dds.

I like coming to Rough because there is always a good crowd of people. First time I came to this place, they had chocolate fondue going, and girls on the bar giving out free tequila shots. Who can complain about that? If & when you guys go PLEASE make sure to go straight to ERIC the bartender, he will take really good care of you (I give him 5 stars)! He wasn't rude or in a hurry like a lot of bartenders. He also does a little show while making your drink, so that's a bonus. I asked to talk to his manager that night but he was on his break. Either way im going back to talk to him, just to make sure he knows. I've never had a bad time here. It gets a little crowded on the weekends, but new favorite night to go is on Friday nights. I went in there on a Friday a couple weeks ago and had a pretty chill time. Yay, Tequila girls where still there even though it wasn't a Saturday night:)
