by Chef Invisible T. on Now close your eyes, walk in the front door, spin three times, and stop.-- Imagine everyone is in beach attire from bikini to wet towels to flip flops. Yeah that's right- your on A1A Beachfront Ave. Ocean across the street, Double D's at the hostess stand, and a wet t-shirt contest on the roof. The food is as glorious as any fried tourist shack in any of the many many many towns on either Florida Coast. So yea--enjoy the wait down by the beach, and build some sand castles before you eat all that great fresh seafood from Atlanta's coastline that was cooked in sun tan oil. I wish they had one of those pull chain showers for when you leave the restaurant. This place I will never get- Just can't get fried food right--Meh Now this is why Baywatch was so popular. 2.25 Out
by Christopher H. on If you're in for a loud, college-y crowd with cheap pitchers and fast bartenders, Jake's is the place to go. One thing, however, makes it one of the best bars in the city: the foosball table. Some of the best foosball players in the city regularly come out around midnight on Fridays, so if you want to see some scary skills or perhaps try yourself against them, come on out. You'll probably lose to my roommate Kevin....
