wow I'm not indonesian, but my boyfriend is. He says this place is the most legit indo food he's had in America. I never tried indo food besides gado gado before coming to this place, but damn! Sooo good. seriously. The place looks like a dump, but don't be dissuaded, it will prove it's worth. There is no effort to make anything look appetising, but it doesn't matter in the end really. Go try it for yourself.

This was our second stop during the bachelorette party. There was no cover charge, which was awesome. For a Saturday night, I was definitely expecting to pay at least something. Upon entering, there is a slide. I was the only one in my group wearing jeans (I guess I missed the cute dress memo), and went down. It's quite speedy! I kind of hit the bottom of my foot against the slide during a bend in it, and got a bit of skin burn... but they did warn us that the slide was fast. Just be careful when going down it. On the website it said that the club is a speakeasy. I was kind of expecting something cool like a secret door or password you need to say to get in, like Bourbon and Branch, but it was just a normal club, which was kind of disappointing in that respect, but it was very nice inside. The decor was awesome, the bar was pretty cool, nice seating along the walls, etc. Overall, this place was pretty cool. The bartender did roll his eyes at me when I asked for some water. I didn't really appreciate that. I was dehydrated! One would think that they would appreciate people asking for water so perhaps they don't drink and drive home? Or get so intoxicated that they vomit on the dance floor? shrug. Besides that bartender, everything else was pretty nice. If you want to enjoy a night on the town dancing, definitely stop by this place, it's pretty cool.

We were in NY in August 2009. This place was a must for us. Beautiful decor, I was amazed at the details. Look at the door handles for the bathroom stalls, the moroccan flair, just beautiful. Music was awesome. Food was great. BUT....service was terrible.. Im talking Terrible with a capital "T". Barely saw our server. Never recommended anything, never asked if we wanted anything else, food or drink and then we had to wait 1/2 hour for our check after requesting it.
