by Michael L. on So like I was in the Mood to get down and get jiggy with it and when I spotted Asia Night hosted by the GLAM peeps I was all for it. The crowd here is definitely far more upscale or was the night I was there. The women and dudes that showed up were not on the HOT and BOTHERED scale but more of the EDUCATED and EMPLOYED types. Which I like, because these kinda crowds are safe, you know the Viet Dragons, K-Town Krew and the Chinese Red Moon (fictional names I am making up) won't start rocking up some pistol capping action out here showing off to hoochies and what not. Security is around and plenty of it. But you could see that they were doing the lets make people wait outside thingy while its almost freaking empty inside trick to give an external outlook that this place is just packing up waayyy before it has. But it does pack up baby, at least on Asian night. But the place sports a rather small dance floor, and its just one of the smallest clubs I've been to and it takes getting use to. Cool barkeeps. Here is a tip... tip big the first time and make sure they eyeball you. After that when you cruise over to get a drink half the time they give me a free juice, beer, shot etc. Its real cool and because of that kind of service... I can see Mood as a definite must return. That and did I mention it feels real safe and all? Yeah mucho important. Oh and Valet was like...$10 or something.. pricey.
