by Gezelle L. on I wish ... I wish ... I wish I could go back every weekend !!!! Boulevard 3 was incredible! I don't go clubbing very often , but this place was so memorable. The DJ kept the hot beats going all night long and the dancers... OMG! They were so much fun to watch... I was shaking my bootie the entire time. Venue is gorgeous and the $20 cover is well worth it!
by Brad L. on Went here with some guy friends a couple weeks ago and while I was not in a particularly lucid state of mind, I do remember a few facts. The first is that the door guys were quite a bit more friendly and professional than at similar establishments in San Francisco. (Slide, for example.) They were completely unwilling to take our money and basically said that no way were they letting in a group of guys without girls. I'm cool with that. I appreciate upfront, "this is how you play the game" information like that. Cabs were pulling up on the street, so we walked over and offered to buy drinks for a couple girls if we could go in with them. Back at the door, we walked in, no problems. All of us. With two girls. I think the door guy laughed and said, "Nice work, guys." Thanks door guy! I'm not sure this would work for a group of cigarette-behind-the-ear, sunglass wearing, "it's my right to get into your club" 22 year-olds, but it worked for us. Inside, the drink service was quick and the dance floor was busy, but not packed. I danced quite a bit to the hip-hop/deep house inspired mix. Good times! I'd definitely go back if I was out with friends who like clubby places.
