by jeremy k. on ok, your right, i saw the rotd and said to myself, clever analysis, but the rateclubsing world need to know the truth about the poopie temple. ive eaten chinese food all my life, i am what you would consider a purest when it comes to american/chinese food. i know that your suppose to have noodles with duck sauce before and with your take out order, i also know that a chinese restaurant lives and dies with the egg roll...do you see where im going with this. I read some other reviews and i completely agree with those residents of brookline who have lived within rock tossing distance, yet choose to get in a car ans get away from this place asap. the cost is high, i guess to cover that snazzy location, the food is spotty imo at best and the place itself could use an overhaul. now dont get me wrong, maybe you dont know better, maybe this is your place and you've never ventured out of brookline, or even this is where you go to bust a groove afterhours in their dance club, hell, i would even agree that if what you know about Chinese food is this and that monstrosity in sagus that is the kowloon your doing well for yourself, however, this is not the way it should be, no sir i dont like it. hey, thats what makes the world go round, try it yourself, luckily there are a few establishments within walking distance for you to be able to get that rancid taste out of your mouth when your done.
