by Roger Wake on This review is for the club aspect of supperclub (i.e. not dinner) These are the highlights of my night, in no particular order: (1) My friend ordered a $9 drink from the bar, payed with a $20 bill, and didn't get his change back. When he asked the bartender for his change back, she insisted that she had already given his change back, and that we were lying (!!!). And she threatened to call the bouncers over if we kept pushing her and playing our "trick" on her. What the...?! We were sober at the time, too... (2) A transvestite dancer wearing a pretty short mini dress and a terrible wig. (3) Definitely many chunky/borderline fat people in the crowd.
by Garth Gioia on Place looks nice - my main complaint was the music. The DJ played a song every minute (even less than a minute). I felt like I was forced to have ADD there -I did not like that. The acrobats were a nice treat
by Kimberly D. on Six Feet Under is a great for an evening hang out. It over looks Historic Oakland Cemetery (one of my favorite places to read during lunch!). Good bar food. Cheers!
