by Kathleen A. on My high school friends and I had a reunion in Philly because one of them goes to med school in Philly. So we went on a mission to Pat's, Geno's, and Jim's to determine which cheesesteak was the best. Once I saw the exterior of Geno's, I had a feeling this was going to rank low on my list. I kinda felt like I was in downtown Las Vegas, where the lights are bright but vibe is...weird. Anyway, I didn't like Geno's at all. And it didn't even look good. The meat was pale and was cut like how I expect it in beef and broccoli from a Chinese restaurant. In fairness though, the cashier was very nice to me. So a star for that.
