by Keven Runge on This is like the only option for the San Franciscan club goer who isn't ready to head home or wasn't invited to an after party. I unfortunately ended up in the latter situation one evening and was forced to resign to this with some friends. This place indeed sucks giant dicks. At 3 am there is a long-ass line around the block for entry, which is $20. I never pay cover anywhere, mostly because I have enough connections never to have to, but what great club really charges a $20 cover? Upon entering you realize the obvious: 1) Everyone here is drunk or on drugs 2) Half the people here are underage 3) No alcohol service 4) Almost everyone is a gay boy looking for a hookup, or 5) Washed up, used up filipino couples that have gained 20 pounds over the course of their relationship and have replaced sex with late night clubbing at the lamest of spots. Note that drugs are relatively easy to score, allbeit sketchy. Not that I'm promoting illecit behavior, but upon being forced to suffer through the hell that is the End Up while drinking bottled water without any eye candy to stare at, or a smooth straight boy contending for my attention, I'd have to say that Thailand (upstairs bungalow, the little cocaine den with all the pretty boys) or Jamaica (the area by the outside bar with lots and lots of weed and less attractive people) offer a bit of relief for an attractive, straight, stir-crazy girl all dressed up without a place to go. All in all, I may be back at End Up one day, but not by choice, and not sober.
by Homer Haun on it was a cool venue, however they did not deliver as far as the host goes. Brittanya from VH1's Rock of love was NOT there. I asked all night and no one knew what the hell I was talking about, or they pretended not to know. I'm sure that's what the club does to bring people in. Good music though. The security guards who escorted me out were ok.
