Came here last weekend when we were visiting friends in the city, and even though it was raining that night, there was still a looong line outside. Sign up for guestlist which is free until 11pm, but unfortunately for us, we didn't get to the front until 11:05... Girls were $10 and guys were $20, which is reasonable compared to Vegas/LA covers. Inside, the bar is directly to your left and the coat check to your right, which was very convenient, but the rest of the layout of the club was horrible. Couldn't really tell if there was an actual dance floor, but instead, it just seemed like people were dancing everywhere - in line at the coatcheck, in line at the bars, no aisles or walkways whatsoever... it was just one huge room with tables on the sides, and everywhere else (although negative space) was the "dance floor." Awkward! I must say, I loved the music they played, even though the DJ played one song three times during the hour we stayed there... but I'm not complaining because it was a good song ;)

This place is ridiculous awesome. I love the decor and the ambiance. It doesn't feel like LA when you're walking through, which is great. We came through after the Dodgers game and our friend is friends with the girl who controls the door basically so we were let in before a couple of NBA players. Nice. I felt bad because we were still dressed for a baseball game and everyone else was in full-on club gear, but I was having a good time regardless. Also as we were walking in I saw one of the hostesses running towards the line screaming to another girl "Hey got any hotties in line? We need more hotties!" which I thought was really funny. We were here on a weeknight and I can't count the number of musicians, actors, and models that were here tonight. I think they had a really great mix of people except some of the women here have extreme attitude problems, but that's not really the fault of the club - or perhaps it is since they are in charge of crowd control. The strangest thing was that only one side of the pool seemed to have heat lamps and it was FREEZING at 1 a.m. on the pool deck. I suppose if we would have asked for a heat lamp to be brought over they would have done so since they were pretty much saying yes to everything else we asked for. I am giving them 3.5 because I also feel like their security staff could have handled a situation better than they did...there was a HUGE scene taking place near one of the bars between to very large black guys and two short Asian/Middle Eastern looking guys, and I was pretty much being backed into a wall by the back of one of the big dudes...I thought I was going to die. And security dispersed the altercation but somehow they mashed back up again and it kind of soured the night. They should have just ejected both parties but they did not.
