by Jarvis Dybala on Came here in September with two buddies and two gal friends of mine. Cool, trendy place with a crappy area to dance. The main floor is lively with plenty of people socializing and getting drunk. As you go downstairs, you get to the "Dungeon" and it's pitch black and you can't see a thing. Make sure you have your flash on when you're taking pictures. I couldn't even make out what anybody even looked like. The bartender there was quick and efficient which is a definite plus. As I got upstairs, I was finally able to see what everybody looked like... Yuck.. Maybe I came on a bad night.. but the girls were not even on par... I'd be generous to even say they were average in appearance.. Shallow? Yeah, probably.. but c'mon.. They acted as if they were princesses that night... lol...The Asian girls I saw had almost a FOBish, straight from the country appearance.. Hard to explain.. but I misjudged them because they spoke perfect English whenever I overheard them.. It was actually kinda bizarre to me... Overall had a decent time because I had a great buzz.. but I'd say it's just a good place to start, but definitely not a place to spend your entire night!
by stephanie v. on What a hot, sweaty mess. Luckily, a friend of a friend knew the bouncer and we kinda bypassed the line. No cover. Dunno if that's normal for a Saturday night or if the FOF also pulled some strings with that. Didn't buy drinks, were already tipsy from the previous bar. The scene was your average ghetty big ass t-shirt dudes with chicks looking like they're going to party it up in Vegas. Probably the highlight of the night had to be these three girls in the back room that were just sweaty messes themselves, trying to do the sexy-like wanna be girl-on-girl dancing. Ones butt cheeks nearly fell out, but a friendly guy helped her adjust her skirt. Eh. Whatever. Also, minus ten points for the 4 or 5 people I saw yacking on the sidewalk right when I walked out. If this is what an ultra-lounge is in the Bay, i must be missing something. Oh yes, the hot dog lady is a plus.
