by Blake i. on The appointments in the room were incredible; I had a king room and the decor was beyond my expectations. If you are in this room type you'd want to be intimately involved with your roommate since there is an open glass shower with no curtain dead center of the room and all your goodies will be on display when using it. This is one of the newer W properties with easy access to I-75/I-85....and herein lies on of the reasons for only one star. I am very noise sensitive and had major trouble sleeping in a 9th floor room. The truck noises were constant throughout the night and the HVAC unit runs very quietly and could not provide the "white noise" I needed to drown out the street sounds. The second issue is the pool. Although covered and sheltered, it is not heated and not usable on a cool evening. I had high hopes for this property but afraid it was not the best fit for my needs (a restful sleep in a hotel room).
by Andrew C. on Generic type of lounge/club and generally a mixed crowd it seems. On weekends usually a line and most nights a $5 cover. Music isn't bad, but I wouldn't say it's particularly good. If you like top 40ish music then you'll like the vibe this place has to offer.
