by Matt J. on My biggest regret about FLIP is that it popped up after I was long gone from Georgia Tech and out of Atlanta. On a recent stop-over to the ATL a bud of mine took me here to get what he called "the best burger ever" - a bold claim. The ambience of the place struck me as it was nothing like the Howell Mill jaunts I remember from my days in midtown. After a lengthy wait (Friday night) we got our table and proceeded to pour over the paper menus to figure out what to sample. I opted for the Korean BBQ burger, zucchini fries with Parmesan and a Nutella with burnt marshmallow milkshake. All three were incredible. The burger was delicious and perfectly cooked and the kimchee on top really made it pop. The fries were great, but it was the shakes that really blew me away. The nutella shake was everything I'd hoped it would be and more. The liquid nitrogen used keeps the shakes good and cold. The shake was so good I actually ending up ordering another one, this time a Krispy Kreme shake, for desert. I can't wait to get back to Atlanta to hit this place again. Well done, Mr. Blaise.
by Louise B. on Dont provide a credit card at this place!! We ordered drinks at the bar and paid with a credit card. Left tip in cash. One week later, we discovered that the Box had not only charged our credit card for the amount we bought drinks for, but also an additional 94 dollars for no reason! We did not approve that! I believe this place had had its glory days and when they pull off frauds like this, one just gets so disappointed....
