Yummy yummy in my tummy! My farm burger was incredibly fresh and cooked perfectly to the medium-well that I had requested. I also had a bite of my bf's steak tartare which was just as tasty. We were a bit disappointed they ran of out sweet potato fries but were pleasantly surprised by the fried rutabaga they suggested. It's hard to go wrong with anything fried, so we went with the french fries as well. And we couldn't resist the warm potato salad, although in our minds we thought it was going to be mayonnaise-based, however it was more along the lines of a roasted potato salad. Still good. And for dessert? Krispy kreme milkshake. I was a bit hesitant at first, but I think I could have had 5 more. Deeelish! Yay or nay? Definitely a YAY!

Iguana actually does taste like chicken but be wary of a plethora of little bones. Oh wait, Iguana New York is a Mexican restaurant that I recently dined at and this review is not about my actual iguana eating in Curacao. (Andrew Zimmern would be proud) You can drink, dance and dine at Iguana NY. You know you've arrived at the location when you observe a large mounted iguana by the front of the establishment. I drank and dined there and was quite pleased by the service and food. Tableside guacamole service resulted in some of the freshest guac I've ever had. (And now I know how to make it, not that I will...) As for the drink, Iguana boasts a menu of 25 mojito flavors. I opted for the melon flavor and was not disappointed. If you need to use the bathroom after drinking too many mojitos, you'll wander down the stairs to an entirely different area, complete with its own bar and dance floor. My entree of crispy boneless chicken was not crisp but it was tasty. I especially enjoyed the chipotle mashed potatoes. There was definite chipotle seasoning present as I savored every spoonful. The chicken was moist and eaten in near record time, a testament to its quality and my insatiable hunger. The menu also includes the standard litany of American Mexican foods, from tacos to quesadillas to burritos. So despite my initial disappointment of not having iguana on the Iguana NY menu, I would easily return for drinks and dinner (and perhaps dancing if I've already had my share of drinks!)
