Let me just say that I am not the target customer for Cover 3, so if you are, this review isn't going to be helpful for you. If you were pumped when you heard they were opening a sports bar that sells ahi burgers on Anderson, you should probably skip this review. This is more a review for someone who lives in the area and is on the fence about whether to give the place a shot. Cover 3 is just not special. The food is decent but has no particular identity and certainly isn't cheap. The drink menu is pretty good, but not anything you can't find elsewhere in town and again, it ain't cheap. The upscale sports bar thing just comes off as an identity crisis to me, and if you head over there for happy hour when a game anyone cares about is on, you are drowning in a sea of men in striped button-ups and khakis that all look a little too much like Andrew McCarthy. And not 80's Andrew McCarthy. Like now. Anyway, the waitstaff is generally very friendly and they do a great job. The parking is convenient, too. I'd say if you're just looking for a place in the area to grab a drink and a decent meal, there are tons of better options.

I needed a quick bite after work one day, before a meeting and was over P'Tree Center Food Court, so I took a little time to run up to O'Terrill's, which prior to this experience, I loved. Since I was getting an order to-go, I did what I never have done before, went to the bar to place my order. This is a place that allows folks to still smoke, so we can only imagine how my poor lungs were reacting when I've been suffering from an upper respritory infection for a few days now. I noticed that they had modified the menu since my last visit, so I decided to get an order of their homemade chips and a nice, fruity salad with blackened tilapia on it. I forgot that they charge for to-go containers, so the simple meal was $15. No biggie, grabbed my order, ran out of the smokers den and hopped on the road to where I needed to go. I knew that I smelled fish a little bit, but in being in the bottom container in the plastic bag AND considering that I am more than a little stopped up, I kept on moving. I grabbed a chip as I was driving - oh... that is chewy, crunchy in another part, and COVERED in salt. Oh, dear. Tried another... it was covered in a salt bath, though crunchy all the way through. I ended up having to rub every single chip with a napkin to knock off the excess salt for it to be halfway edible. Oh, well... at least I have my salad. I opened it up, YES... that's a lot of fish! Lets get ready. Oh, but WHAT is that smell? I looked at the fish, sniffed it up close. I don't know if it wasn't done. I don't know if it wasn't fresh. I just know that it smelled like HELL. I was about to sit through a gathering with high school students for 2 hours with some stinky fish to eat, salty chips being the only thing on my stomach, I was not happy. I decided to put the fish in the other container, eat the salad portion and return the fish once the meeting was over. I went in to the smoky place after my meeting and told the bartender that the fish was not good in the most tactful, quiet way I could. He was puzzled, 'they've been serving it all day long, how could this be'. He asked if I wanted chicken instead. Eh... chicken hasn't hurt too many folks before, sure. He throws in some of the Bailey's cake that I've always eyeballed on the menu for free and I went about my merry way. Now, when he asked if I wanted the chicken, silly me assumed that he meant did I want the same dish that I purchased with chicken on it. Well, they gave me some overcooked chicken breasts, smothered in some bitter tasting cheese, with a side of sliced tomatoes and green apples with a roll. Hmm... So, the 2 stars given are for the bailey's cake and the effort to handle it correctly. One star taken for the smoky bar, the raw fish, and the weird meal combination that I ended up with.
